I recorded the latest series, & just wondered if anyone else was as excited as me to discover she was Lyle's Mum. She was only in the very end of the episode I saw (?ep 4?), so I'm hoping that means she has a bigger part in the next one, which I will be watching very soon. :)

I've never seen the show if I'm honest but I will try and catch it - sounds pretty good now! I do this sometimes when Julia St John is a guest on a murder mystery or something. So thank you for letting us know!

When I watch the next episode, I'll let you know how much she's in it & which episode from series 3 it is.
Kingdom is an OK programme, but I've had a soft spot for Stephen Fry since the days of A Bit of Fry & Laurie, so I'm a bit biased.

She was great in it! She played (inevitably) a bit of a dippy hippy Mum, & was supposed to be from Lancashire, & sometimes her accent was spot on, & sometimes it wandered..... But if you get the chance to see it, she was on top form I thought. Very funny. :)
