In series 1 episode 6 (Assasin) both Gavin and Tim seem to know the head of the choir very well - perhaps they were among those who left when Brittas turned up...or the "three people" who turned up the night before were Tim, Gavin, and Brittas! I too have wondered how they knew Larry - either from the choir, or the "sort of singles night" I'm guessing. From Tim's comment it seems to me they knew him, but not really well, for quite some time. Can't see Tim in a church choir, can you?!
