Can anyone kindly confirm the series and episode where there is a boy drowning in the swimming pool?
I ask this because I was that boy, and as a consequence I would be interested to watch the episode because I was young and because my recollection of the filming was ambiguously cloudy, although I remember Chris Barrie (Gordon Brittas) swearing when he got his lines wrong!
If anyone could help I would be very grateful?
Chris

There are a few drownings along the way - did you drown on your own, or with others? It's a while since I watched them, but I'm guessing if you were on your own, it could have been Blind Devotion, series5 ep2 - there's definitely someone drowning in that one, although I can't remember if it's a boy or girl.... I might just have to watch it & see, as it's ages since I've seen that episode. Not sure I've been a lot of help, but, hey, what a claim to fame! How did you get the job?

Wow, thanks for the prompt reply!
I completely forgot I was in this series until I started writing a CV and adding all my minuscule acting roles.
I used to attend a stage school and was selected to audition for the small role. The first days of filming were set in the swimming pool which is located in Brighton. The indoor scenes were filmed in the BBC white city, London.
My memory of the whole thing is clouded, I was very young and did not know of the programme prior to filming.
Thanks for the reply, I'll check the Blind Devotion series out.
I wish I could give you more information about that day, the cast or the programme but I just can't. Maybe if I watch the series there will be objects, voices or scenes that will produce vivid recollection of the whole event!
Again, thanks

No problems - do post again if you have any more memories of this!
