 A plea...
« Thread Started on Jun 30, 2004, 8:32am »

To All guests...

I know you're out there!

This is just a little plea from me to ask you as nicely as I possibly can to join up.
There is nothing more depressing for me, the boards creator, to look in on my forum and see that there are no new members despite the large number of guests that visit.
What are we doing wrong? I know that our current residents Totoffle and TimFan are doing their best to try to encourage you to join in their conversations and keep setting up new threads to keep up the interest but still we seem to be alone.
If you think that there's nothing worth you joining in with then why not set up your own thread and talk about what you want to? Hell, even join and say how much you hate it!!! A lively debate's good for anyone!

Well, that's all from me.

A downheartened,

The Manager :(

Hi

I'm not sure if this is the best thread to put this in,but it seems as good as any other. I've just started watching repeats of the Brittas Empire on Bravo and remembered how good it was, then stumbled upon your website while on a hunt for episode guides. I love all of the staff of Whitbury Newtown Leisure Centre, but particularly Gavin and Tim and their relationship sagas. It's obviously a strange thing I have for gay couples on TV as I loved Tony and Simon in Eastenders in the same way. I'm very reassured to know that there are other people in the world though that find the two of them attractive as my friends all used to laugh at me for fancying them!

Sorry I couldn't think of a more imaginative name for myself, I registered in a bit of a rush so no time for creativity. Just wanted to let you know of my presence!

A big squishy welcome to you :) The plea seems to have paid off, we're doing 'wuite well' (As Rimmer would say) in the members area! :D

Laura is a perfectly acceptable name, at least people can pronounce it, unlike 'Totoffle', which nearly gave someone I know some kind of tongue... problem, whilst trying to say it.

Welcome, again, you'll fit in nicely.

I have joined!!! I am new!!!!

Unfortunately, The Brittas Empire doesn't seem to be as popular asother BBC comedies but hey, we all love it and thats whats important!!! Have just watched every episode, right from the beginning

I just hate the way it ended :(

Maybe limiting what the guests can see might lure them into joining... I'm not sure what they can or cannot view, but possibly the media (pictures, links, etc.) should be for members only? Just a thought.

I agree with the post above. Considering it's very easy to find this place if you are searching for anything Brittas on google.
