I saw someone else from Brittas in something else recently...
Oh. The same episode Julia St. John is in A Touch of Frost, Thingumy Digby (from the Chop) is the Chief dude.

Horatio himself was in Jeeves and Wooster with Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. As was Chloe whatsit who became Kachanski in RD VII & VIII

She always seemed like such a bi.tch The other kochanski was just ... out of place, like she was rich and used to things, and so she would whine and nag and tease etc...

The character of Kochanski was never a particularly good one. It seemed like she was a character who would've suited 'guest starring' in one episode, and then never coming back, like Nirvanah Crane. [Oh, Nirvanah Crane, what a terrible character.]
They stretched the whole Lister/Kochanski thing for too long, it could've just been squeezed into one episode.
