So, she's only in the first few episodes. I know she's a good device to get information about Gordon to the viewers, but did you like her? Do you think that she should have stayed so that Helen would have had a friend? Do you think that she moved away or something to get away from Gordon? Why did Gordon dislike her so much? Was it just that he was embarrassed that he'd taken her son's cricket bat?

Well since there's never anymore mention of her I reckon she moved away. Mr Brittas was quite rude to her, I doubt she'd stick around.

She was just a character that they cud use to establish Brittas' background really. I preferred seeing Helen getting more involved with the staff at the centre. That way she cud be featured more in the storylines

Yeah... I actually wish that they'd kept Pam in the background somewhere... poor Mrs Brittas and her lack of friends.

Her use in S1 was to enable Helen to explain about Brittas. We then knew about him so she wasn't needed and she talked mainly to Helen - but you know all this. Maybe she could have been used more later one, maybe not. I, for one, did like her.

I don't know, I don't think I could see Pam fitting in with the other storylines since they're all set in the leisure centre and she doesn't work there.

maybe Mrs Brittas could have mentioned her once in the later series but I don't think it would have made much of an impact since Pam wasn't even a secondary character. I see what you mean tho.

Though she probably was so pissed off by having Brittas as a neighbour that she moved away. And Helen probably cried.
