Drugget was asbolutely right. I don't like the way he smiles while being vicious, I don't like him using poor Helen to get at Brittas. BUT. He cares about his job, he's quite rightly horrified at the conditions in which Carole's children have been raised - she's charmingly insane, but *look at it from the outside* - and he's a vast improvement on the first councillour in that he actually cares how many people are being injured and dying and does his best to stop it.
The Brussels job was a master stroke.

^ Totally ignoring that last episode, i am... I like to think that after the credits of the last episode roll, all the leisure centre staff wake up after being knocked out by some sort of gas leak. Damn, that it was all a dream was a lovely dream, and we're still here with Brittas!

well... i have now seen the episode with Drugget in it. And I think he's only doing his job. He's a business man, not a social worker. And he hates Brittas, and finally got rid of him. Firing Carole, well... like i said, he's a business man. And her having her children there is probably against regulations.
