Wooo my friend came round to see me today and I made her watch a couple series 4 episodes of Brittas (Mr B changes trains and Playing with fire.) She said she sorta remembers the show from when she was a kid but not very much so I made her watch them and she loved them lol... and wooohooo! I converted her into a Tim Fan!!! ;D

She said Gavin was cute but Tim was *in her words* 'Hot with a capital 'H''... I guess that means she likes him and I didnt even have to put on the episode with the hoody for her to realise it! |

Most of my friends who i've shown it to tend to think that he's cute... but that it's like, his behaviour and personality and stuff that's really cute. And so they really like Tim and Gavin, like, as a pair... rather than like, in attractiveness terms. More in 'omg that character's just so CUTE!' |

Today I recruited a new Tim & Gavin fan! YAY! She said 'they are so cute!' she loved when Gavin leapt over the desk in 'pregnant' episode.
If we keep recruiting new fans lol we will have enough to demand a new series hahaha!

yeah, well i have been *trying* to recruit new brittas empire fans. I have a friend who thinks that heaps of the characters are sweet, or she thinks they're great, just from reading fanfics or me telling her about them... hehe And I got a PM the other day on ff.net from someone who loves how I've written Tim and Gavin, and she hasn't even ever seen the show! They're just so easy to love. |

haha... yeah we could. But we need a *strategy* probably. And, though the one on one way is probably the most effective in conversion rate, we should also probably like, advertise the forum around the place, so that if there are any fans who happen to read it, they might want to come on... or! The whole fanfiction thing! People reading fanfics about something can often get them hooked. I know I've read fanfictions on things I've never seen before... and, I have been working on getting my fanfics seen more... |

Oooh yes good idea! Could post the sites link on loadsa fansites like Red Dwarf and also places that like slash... cuz they are the ones that get hooked... like um... ah.. I can't advertise other sites can I?

Well, I don't think you'd be advertising it to mention stuff that you go to. I think we can all accept that we don't exclusively go here... but yeah. Slash sites would be good, or Red Dwarf fans...
hmn.
But of course we'll have to do it subtley so it's not 'spamming'. I mean I don't want to 'spam' I just want to make people aware that the show exists...
