Um... well it's not stopped lots of people. I mean my avatar is technically against copyright because I screencapped it and used it. But I think usually, as long as you're not making money from it, no one will have a problem with it.

By the way, I'd never use other peoples *artwork* for anything without getting permission first. (unless it was like, a picture of a picasso painting or whatever) That gets people upset. But screencaps usually don't, unless you're like, making a profit with it.
