Awww! I go through phases of watching the episodes on repeat. I watched that episode quite recently. The look Tim and Gavin give each other when Mr. Brittas says that is funny.

I think it went something like this (It's not exact as I'm working from memory - Anyone can feel free to correct me):
BRITTAS: Everyones got to have a partner. This is our chance to bond as an adhesive social group and we're not gonna do alot of bonding if we've got nobody to bond with are we?
TIM: Well I havn't got one.
BRITTAS: You wish to say something, Timothy?
TIM: I was just saying I don't have a partner.
BRITTAS: Well why not? You've got to have a partner, Tim.
GAVIN: Well... he could always come with me.
BRITTAS: What?
GAVIN: Well as it happens I don't have a partner either.
BRITTAS: Why not?
GAVIN: Well for some of us it's not that easy Mr. Brittas.
BRITTAS: Honestly, what's wrong with you two boys?
LINDA: I didn't realise we had to bring a partner.
BRITTAS: Oh this is rediculous.
LINDA: But I suppose I could always ask Edward, I'm sure he'd come. We went to school together.
BRITTAS: See Tim, why can't you do that?
TIM: Well because Edward's already going with Linda.
