I own it! Can't watch it, because it's in the hands of my friend Lee whom I sent out to buy it, but I'm so excited! I'm never going to get my personal statement written at this rate... ...ah, well. Who needs to go to university? jeans for dwarves?

Eeep I'm so excited! I couldn't get it today though because none of the effin' shops had it delivered yet! (tsh!)
But hopefully I shall own it and watch it tomorow after I make the trek up to Glasgow! (Pfft!)
Bloody third HIstory of Art essay to finish for my retard of an Art teacher too...but thankfully, in the absence of a new shiny Brittas, I got most of it done tonight.
...Which was nice.

Well, I've got it and I somehow managed to watch the whole series last night!! (I got in form work, made dinner and then watched it all damn night!!!! ) I rocks!!! I tell you that has to be one of the best series EVER! It rules and it's let the plot bunnies out so await multiple fics from me (it's happened at a great time to as work is finally beginging to settle and I've got more time on my hands, bliss!!) I don't want to say to much incese some of you haven't seen it yet, but Oh My God were there some suprises!!! Things happening that I had totally forgotten about!!! There were moments that I gasped, Ooohed and winced and got all upset (not to mention the hysterical laughter!) I tell you this is one underestimated series and watching that you have to wonder why, it bloody brilliant! We really are the precious few, we've got our own special diamond and we need to treasure it!!!! Ok I'll stop gushing about it now, but I just LOVE it!!!! Oh and have a look at this, it was me on Saturday (I'm pulling a bit of a face but hey?) img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/amberstarbright/collectormania/100_0677.jpgI own it! jeans for dwarves? Sorry I was messing about, They're shorts.

I can post! Ohhh thank god! For two days I've been trying to post, it every time I go to reply to a post, it logs me out! Pah, how dare that happen?! Oh well, all fixed now, and I can say: Series 5. Oh. My. Like.... GOD. I... I like... I like. Me like very much, me watch ALL of series 5 yesterday! I was in Brittas-heaven. Even if I DID have to go all the way to the POST OFFICE to get it! (I know, the humanity.) *Sigh* Such good-ness.

All I can say is was I the only one who a) Gasped when a certain someone punched someone else! b) Found it amusing that Gavin and Tim were in Cookham in the beginging of the special? c) Winced and went Oooh when someone said, "Don't you touch me!" to someone else?
Oh my god I love this series, it brought back so many memories of the first time....

ARGH! I've got it now and it's bloody amazing! It's actually better than the preceding series' all put together! The jokes are funnier, edgier, the sets are more....plentiful, Carole's amazing, Julia's hair is the bomb and Chris is looking.... *dribbles* Anyway....UXB has gotta be my fave episode ever! That daydream is just the best! And my god I've been studying that particular scene in great detail...and I've concluded that they are in FACT using tongues. NO, that's not just the Laura/Brittas fangirl in me saying it...you can see Julia's moving. Anyway....on that note, going to dry my hair then watch it again!

Series 5 is my absolute favorite season. It's the first one I got on DVD, inspite of the fact that my TV is NTSC and the picture comes out as black and white. I couldn't wait for it to come out in Region 1 or NTSC. Looks like I would need to buy a new TV just so I can watch this show in color! The Brittas Empire is certainly worth it. I'll slowly make my way to getting the rest of the seasons.
Season 5 is funny, heart breaking, fun, hilarious... it's got everything.

Goodness, and I thought it was bad being in Australia... at least, once I hacked my DVD player, it shows in colour! I'm curious -- how did you run across the show in the US? None of my American netfriends have ever heard of it. Season 5 is funny, heart breaking, fun, hilarious... it's got everything. I love S5 devotedly because it is the start of Gavin in a nice white shirt with a clipboard and looking frazzled, which melts me into a little puddle of goo. And "Pregnant". I love "Pregnant" so very very much. And I don't care how much it stuffs with continuity, the Christmas Special is brilliant. (~glances at your post count~ And it feels funny to be doing this because I still think of myself as a newbie... but welcome!)
