So, this week, we are watching, "Episode 1". "Gordon Brittas has been appointed as the new manager of the Whitbury New Town Leisure Centre. He arrives to find an efficiently run building, smiling staff and the builders just adding the finishing touches- until they recieve his pep talk."
Please watch the episode, and start a thread on something to do with that episode or what you think of while watching that episode.

I've done mine.  They can be really tiny aspects of the first episode if you want, or... about themes, or the plot, or a question or anything at all. |

I have!!!!
Its great to see Gordon making his introductions to his new teams and getting to know a bit of the background of how brittas ended up in whitbury!!! Aldershott!! lol
I love the fact that, even now, laura is really trying to make sense of Brittas and be respectful to him
It starts off really well and establishes the basis for the whole series very well
But I much prefer Julie to Angie! Angie's personality just doesn't come across very well and I dont think the actress who plays her was very good. She has since been in Hollyoaks apparently which explains a lot lol! From Brittas to Hollyoaks, what a comedown!

Gordon is anxious that the official opening ceremony will be a success. Unfortunately, not everything is fully functional land with Gordon in charge things go from bad to worse.

This week is episode 3.
Brittas finally finds out about Carole keeping her baby in the desk drawers and orders her to remove both it and herself. Unfortunately the baby goes missing and the distraught mother goes berserk with an axe.
Hope that you have time to watch it during the quiet christmas-new year gap! And, it'd be great to see more people getting into this.

This week is episode 4. The leisure centre swimming pool has been chosen by two members of Whitbury Diving Club as the location for their underwater wedding. Not everything goes to plan and Brittas cannot understand his bad luck.
