well, at first, the whole drawer thing was okay- kids have slept in drawers for centuries. But the fact that they were in there like, all day! eep.

I know people at chuch who said they were born premature and were put in a drawer. I always assumed it was open and they were in there because they were too small for a cot. It was just that Carole seemed to keep the drawers closed!

Yes...and didn't she almost cook one of them once with a lightbulb in the drawer?
The cupboard at least seemed a bit roomier...even if it did lead to the eventual collapse of the centre!

Yes, she put a lightbulb in after Laura said she shouldn't keep babies in the dark.

Well, she WAS always playing with them and (or referring to playing with them) and she kept them clean, and cared about them a great deal. She was just a bit insane.
