As said in the Brittart thread, i've been making Sims 2 versions of the Brittas Empire characters. Unfortunately they're growing up now... (But i can make them again later on, or make them and not play them, just take photos to show you what they were like as babies etc). How i'm doing it is making them as adults, and as close to the character as i can (but i'm not brilliant at it) and then turning them into kids or toddlers, and giving them a family and watching them grow up. I've only made Laura, Gavin, Tim (they haven't met yet) and i made a rather dodgy looking Carole. Carole's hard to make and she looks horrible as a child lol, mainly because curls don't work in the sims. Here are some pictures, i haven't taken very many as screen shots yet, but i can go in and do that some time, maybe it will entertain you. Thanks! I haven't done any of the others yet, it takes me ages to make them, and then it takes my stupid slow computer ages to let me take a screen shot, get out of the game for a few minutes, save the picture, and then get back in. I took about 40 minutes taking those Child Laura ones today. *sigh*
I'll be getting around to the others though. Eventually. I'm just having fun playing with Teen! Tim and Teen! Gavin right now lol. It's sooo funny. I've made the personalities like them, and they keep getting in situations i can so see Tim or Gavin getting into. Tim and Gavin haven't met each other yet, but they're starting to have 'romances'. Sim Gavin is obsessed with 'making friends' with a bunch of random guys he just met, and has this girl who likes him but he keeps getting annoyed with her when she tries to kiss him. Sim Tim has a male crush, and yes, he's insanely jealous lol. And the guy he likes just randomly came up and started flirting with him, which i thought was pretty funny...

You know what I hate about The Sims? The lack of decent fringes. (or bangs, whichever) I totally gave up searching for a decent free laura-esque fringe. In the right colour. With the right style.

yeah... true. If i remember properly, adult Sim laura doesn't look too bad. I based her on first season.
it's funny watching the boys grow up. As kids they looked sooo similar. (i'm not all that good yet) but now the different noses are starting to develop lol and the different shaped eyes and jaw lines are starting to show too.

I don't think he'd act like a Mr Brittas though. All i'd be able to do is make him nag people, and then they'd all totally hate him and want to fight him and then he'd die of depression lol

Ah, y'see...that's what happened with my Brittas'..1,2 AND 3.
In the end up I just stuck Brittas IV in with a wee Laura. Just to see what happened....

I think i'll just have to make a Brittas Sim who's a total neat freak or something like that. Then he'll always go around complaining things aren't clean enough lol

Thanks! I'm not sure ey're older though. When I was making them, I made them as adults and then made them toddlers, and gave them parents (who i'm sure look NOTHING like the character's real parents but oh well), but I'm not all that good at making sims, so it may just be a passing resemblence and I just imagined that they looked fairly decent... I guess we'll have to see. Unfortunately I can't play the sims right now, my computer keeps crashing when I try, not enough memory or something.

I have'nt been able to play Sims for months, the game keeps shutting down. I think I don't have enough memory. So, I haven't been able to play with Sim Gavin and Tim for ages either. Sorry.
