Poor Colin! After Brittas himself, he's my favorite character, Laura would be third.
I like Tim too of course, and I wish he had more to do. He has the potential to be a huge star outside of the show. I could easily see him in the role of Jason Bourne for instance.

I'm in the middle of rewatching S6, so I want to hug Tim rather less than to see Gavin deck him. Gavin has the patience of a saint in that series. But he'll look all huggable again once I hit S7.

 Series 6 managed to smite all the characters, didn't it? heheheh. 'Smite'. Sorry; had to use it...it keeps looking at me from that unexplainable button at the side. *notices she has one karma...and noone else has* ...IS THAT BAD?!

I think it's designed for help boards, really... other users can smite people who are of no help, and exalt those who are. There's some stuff in the FAQ, but it's down right now.
Gah, S6. I'm treating it as a part of my marathon just to get to, and rerooting a My Little Pony as it's on. Can concentrate on her when Penny comes in. Although I do like her brushing Helen's hair.
Speaking of marathons... Has this board ever done something like book fandoms do, where you have set books/episodes for, say a week, and everyone tries to watch and discuss that one at once? Now they're all out on DVD, a group rewatching of the entire thing might be fun. And someone suggested a while back people nominating pairings and discussing episodes from that perspective.
(I am so OT. Um, Gavin remains my favourite, and actually the best thing about S6 is that Gavin all worried clutching a clipboard and being slightly pompous has to be one of the most adorable things ever.)
