Firstly, does the music at the beginning make anyone else here feel REALLY uneasy?
And I've just been thinking that the actor, Chris, would probably like to go out like that. As part of a car, cept it would be something better than a Skoda. ;D

LMAO! what a random thought Yeah the music at the beginning is all like... sad... and makes you think 'whats going on here then?'. Love the reaction when Mr Brittas comes back though and they think he's a gohst.

For other people reading this later on, she's talking about series 2 episode 1.
(and I'm going to try and avoid putting all thoughts of this episode into one thread)
Yeah, the music at the start of the episode is really good! I think it does what it's supposed to do. It sounds sort of sad and lonely but also foreboding... I also like the music when all the people start showing up! Sooo early 90s, but, it works anyway!
And yeah. I think if Chris had to die, he'd like to be part of a car. Not that they'd keep him like that or anything but... yeah.

Sadly, I remember stuff like that. Yes, they were in fashion. Well... probably not ones with your name on it like that, but caps were... Brittas probably thought he was being hip.

It's odd seeing 90s stuff, coz you wonder when you first watched it how the heck did it seem alright? Then you realise you used to wear it! (I didn't coz I was V. young in the early 90s.)

Yeah I was also very young in the early 90s. But I remember wearing leggings and long tshirts... and the other day I found this cap that I had, which had sequins sewn all over it. One of the mothers at my school was making them to sell. It was the height of fashion. One of my aunts had one too...

I have no clue what shell suits are... well yeah. I think what happened with the caps was that Gordon knew caps were fashionable (and... 'big' caps actually were more common then. They weren't like the ones now) and was like ooo that'll be a cool thing for a uniform, even though we're inside, but it'll look sporty! And it'll be better than a name tag!

lol I spose its a more inventive way of a name tag Shell suits are like tracksuits made out of a sort of shiny waterproof material... usually brightly coloured... and they were very big in the early 90's.... and everyone looks back on them now and cringes.
