Those infamous tight little shorts that the boys wore and that we all loved in series one and 2 were gone in series 4 EXCEPT in the last episode.
I noticed they made thier triumphant return in the episode where they received a new manager........
I must say they do the boys much more justice then the baggy ones.

The other thought is that the cast requested shorts which weren't quite as snug. Although nice to look at, we don't actually know how comfortable they were to wear.

Or a female costume manager! Linda and Laura's work clothes dont seem to be as snug fitting, or do I need to watch them again just to check?

Not much was left to the imagination. But seriously, i don't care if they wear tight or baggy short, as long as they still show their legs

Laura did tend to wear really tight leotards - especially in series 4....which they over-compensated for with a blue cardigan/sack.

Gordon Brittas even tried to get Tim's shorts off on one occasion! In the scene he was trying to see if Tim really was a man and wanted to have a look inside his shorts to confirm his manhood. Gavin rushed in to find Tim on the floor with Brittas straddling him trying to undo his shorts.
Gavin of course rescued the lovely Tim from the hands of Brittas

Brittas arranges urine tests for all of the staff. When his test results come back Tim is accused of being a woman, and a pregnant one at that. Hence Brittas wants to have a look inside his shorts to see if he is a man or not! One of the funnier scenes from the rather poor Series 6 David

*Sees the word 'SHORTS'* *Is drawn to the topic*
...Shorts... Mmm... *Cough* Anyway, er, they did seem to disappear, didn't they!? T'was a pity, because they were... *Ahem* Well, yes, anyway.
And Pregnant is one of the best episodes. Of Series 6 at least.
