I have it as a ringtone on my phone! I love it when it goes off I either get completely blank stares from people who have clearly never watched it, and the odd knowing smile!!

My friend sent me the song over MSN and I just added it onto my phone, mine is a sony ericsson and i can put sounds and pics and stuff onto my memory card  I have a ton of Red Dwarf and Brittas sayings for text alerts as well hahah its so so so wrong but sooooo good. |

I've had it as a ring tone on my mobile for a while - I found you need to edit off the drums, as they're very difficult to hear when it's ringing, & go straight for the main theme.... Sadly, not a single person has recognised it for what it is.  |

Haha, I still have the drums on mine but I agree they are hard to hear ... I can be stood on a packed bus and I can feel my phone vibrating but cant hear it but i know whats coming .. I struggle and look in my bag desperately but never in time, the main theme pipes out quite happily and people look at me like i am very strange! haha.
Im sooo going to watch me some Brittas later, I am only up to series 4 on the boxset. I am pacing myself.

I would really like the Brittas theme as my ringtone. Now I've got it downloaded, I should be able to change it now. I don't really care if I get blank stares from people when it goes off! At the end of the day, my brother has got tons of sounds from his favorite comedy programmes as his ringtone and whatnot.  I've nearly finished collecting all the Brittas series (just got Series 4 to buy now, actually). ;D |

I was really lucky - I got it second hand DVD boxset from amazon for 25 quid!! Was in a really good condition, I cant fault it, I have been pacing myself through it though.

That's rubbish - the DVD really is good value. I'm pretty sure some of the extrtas are downloadable too though, but probably not the really cheap, yet fab quizes etc........... The outtakes from series 4 are on youtube (they come with the DVD)

There is an outtake from Series 5 on YouTube now but as I say, it's only one. The main outtakes we see are from Series 4 (which are all very funny and I enjoy watching them over and over). If Eureka Video would to release an anniversary DVD (twenty years in two years time since Series 1 of Brittas), a great feature would be to release all the outtakes from all seven series. And a documentary of some sort but that's just an idea.

Yeah, no special features for us yanks. Just half quality video files with the occasional glitch. I should just go out and get a worldwide DVD player.
