You can download programmes for screenshots/grabs. I use 'Capture Me', but I'm on a Mac, and I don't know if there's a Windows version of that exact one. Google for 'free screencap software' or some similar phrase - I've used quite a few and found this one the best, so it's worth looking around for one that suits you.

Hang on. I was about to say that I'd need to be able to play dvds in this computer. But... then I remembered that i HAVE watched things on it before, when we first got it. We took it on h oliday and watched movies. So... I might have some chance.
How would I go about taking clips, what program would I need for that? Clips rather than grabs.
Also, how do I take grabs...
Though, I am actually concentrating on fanfics right now, as you can see by the christmas present thread.

theres lots of different ways to take a screen grab, without downloading software. Main one is to watch it in ur computers dvd player and there should be an option to take a still.

I'm going to *try* to make a fanvideo right now. It won't be very good as I've got hardly any pictures but I'll do my best. I also have almost no songs right now so it might be a really weird song. If you want to help me out, if any one has any way to do screenshots, just taking some ones every now and then would be brilliant!
