Hey everyone! I thought of an idea to get this fandom more active... a drabble challenge. All you have to do is write a 100 word drabble relating to a set theme... if it's successful the theme prompt will change each week. Everyone can join in on this as it's only 100 words... so come on! have a go!
This weeks prompt word is: UNDERSTANDING

Sounds good - May give something a go over the weekend! Is it a strict 100 words rule? Or can it be flexible by a couple of words more/less here or there? Just curious 'cause I know some people don't mind, while others believe a drabble ain't a drabble if it's not 100 words exactly  |

Nah I don't mind if it's a few words over or short... I doubt mine will be exactly 100 words.

Here's my attempt at a drabble: UNDERSTANDING.
(This is a work of FanFiction - 100% unnofficial, no profit is being made, I do not own anything mentioned in this drabble/fic, just for fan fun!)
He could only hear Gavin's half of the conversation. "Yes mum, Tim is in tonight. No he hasn't got a girlfriend either." Something in Gavin's voice changed, "Look, to be honest mum we don't have a girlfriend because..." This was it, thought Tim. Gavin was actually going to tell them the truth, "Because it's hard to meet someone with the hours that we have to work at the leisure centre." Maybe not, decided Tim. Maybe Gavin will tell them next time, all Tim could do was be understanding and patient and let his boyfriend do things in his own time.

He likes his coffee lukewarm, his water freezing cold (with ice cubs), he won't get into bed unless he's completely exhausted. He thinks that once the alarm goes off you have to get out of bed right away, he believes good hygiene is the path to everything good in life.
And that's only the beginning of it, because Tim could spend all day listing everything he knows about his lover. It's why he knows their meant to be...because he knows every part of Gavin and he knows he knows every part of him.
((Patience))
Tim's late. Always late, he wares a watch, can read clocks just as well as anyone. But he's always late. By the time Gavin spots Tim coming from the dressing room in his street clothing, he's tapping his foot and has his arms wrapped across his chest.
"You always do this! Even when I tell you I'll be waiting!" Gavin huffs.
Tim looks around the empty lobby then smirks and presses a quick kiss to the side of Gavin's mouth, "What can I say? I happen to think you're handsome when your angry."
