Thanks for the compliment... I don't think i'm that good, and i know i'm hopeless lengthwise. At least Hothouse just got a few hundred words longer!

well, that was the point for these ones...i was trying to write only 100 words. It's harder than you think! But I actually have trouble writing 'long' ones.

Yes, drabbles are a fantastic challenge - trying to cram 100 words that describe everything to perfection in. No room for anything that isn't pure drabble-tastic story.

We want description, we want Tim at first pushing Gavin's attempt at cheering him up away, then later accepting it...we want to know what happens when Brittas asks why Tim was late for his pool duty and we want Gavin stepping in and defending Tim and.... well, y'know, not to be demanding or anything...we just want more! Failing that, more drabbles would be great too I admire you for posting anything at all, frankly...but you're like a pusher now...you've got us hooked and now we need a hit more and more often  xx |

I've been thinking...
I like to write slightly AU type fics. So I was pondering what might have been...
What would have happened if Gavin's 'trouble' when he was younger had resulted in him being convicted for something?
What if neither of them had worked in the centre...but fate had brought them together some other way. How else could all these people come across one another?
Assuming the reunion epi was bollocks, what might they all be doing after-Whitbury? I can see Tim being some sort of TV chef, but I truly can't imagine Gavin being a politician, and I'm not thrilled with Laura and Barney etc...
