I find LJ so much easier to use than forums, too. I do check in here most days, but all of my other fandoms are active on LJ, so I guess I'm used to how well that works, with the tags and comments etc.

I was soo confused when I first started using LJ, because I started with forums. I guess it's just what you're used to...
But oh well, as long as one of them is fairly active, that's good.

I find LJ so much easier to use than forums, too. I only recently started working on forums and I've had an LJ for five years. But like 'inkling' said I'd rather have the forum be more active only because LJ stints never seems to last. But hey-still join just in case!~  |

I've only just recently joined LJ so I'm still working out how to use it. ;D I love this forum though... but it would be cool if the LJ thing became popular too.

I think the forums works better because we can actually talk without all the hassle of comments but LJ will be a GREAT recruitment board. Also it's wonderful for icons/banners/backgrounds and the link.

I prefer forums for longer discussions. On LJ I often feel like once about a week is over, you can't talk in that thread anymore. And you feel weird reposting the same thought again later on. I like how in forums, topics are bumped up and lots of conversations can go on at once.
