aww... I soooo want series 7, and then again I'm also not sure I do want most of series 7 because it just didn't work for me without Rimmer, that being the whole point of Red Dwarf - Lister (last human alive) and Rimmer (hologram of his dead bunk mate)

They really don't. Mind you, if it had been Lister, my mam would have been quite sad.
In the last two series, the whole point of the show was abandoned really. When they brought the crew back and stuff.

It's not only Rimmer. I would've been sad if it had been Lister, Cat or Kryten... They only character I would be happy with going, would be Kochanski, but that's only because I have a personal vendetta against her.
I'm still going to get series 7. For one reason. Blue. I know I have it on tape, but I don't care!

to be honest, it wouldn't have worked for me without Lister either. Not just because of the relationship between Rimmer and Lister, but because of the on-screen relationship / presence of Chris and Craig. Thats what made the ending of SMAC so powerful.

I'd have been sad if Lister left too. But Rimmer's always been my favourite, ever since I started watching it as a little girl, so that's why I was extra sad.
I'd LOVE to hear the commentary for Blue!!!!!!

Me too.. I don't just love him for his gorgeousness, but because he's such a great character... So sad, and almost pathetic in a way... But pathetic in a good way... Sort of makes me want to give him a hug.

I might just HAVE to go and watch Timeslides. It's one I don't wacth that often... I find myself watching Polymorph, Queeg, Marooned, Meltdown and of course... Bluuueee...
One I don't watch all that often, is Justice. And it's such a Rimmer episode. I think that's why I don't watch it much, because of poor Rimsy being all imprisoned... Poor baby.

Gosh this topic has grown... 15 pages! 15!
I wish my latest RD fic was 15 pages long. Currently, it's about 15 words. I have all of the inspiration, all of the slashy-ness, but none of the ideas. Well... Obviously I have SOME idea... Am I confusing you all; again? Probably.
Damn plot bunnies. I can't watch Blue, I just can't ever watch it without feeling the urge to write slash. Thankfully, this one isn't inspired by Blue, as so many others seem to be... Aaaaaaahhh, I digress... What was I going to say...
No. I forget. But I will innocently prod that guest that's lurking, in the direction of the sign-up form...
