Okay, I'll share first. My grandfather is coming over, we're having a meal. I just wrapped a whole lot of presents, I hadn't realised how many I'd bought! I hope I'll get some fanfic writing time. And I hope there's no tsunamis, flooding, fires, cyclones, etc.

My fiancee's coming down to my place on Christmas Eve and we're having Christmas day here - doing our own thing, going for a walk on the beach, eating etc. There's no one else here, so no pressure. Then on Christmas day evening we'll go up to his place. All my family flee the country pretty much, apart from my mother, who doesn't celebrate Christmas, so I don't have any obligations to do anything I don't want xx

wow you get up early to open presents! When I was little we weren't allowed to get up any earlier than 7 for presents (and we couldn't start without mum and dad), and we weren't allowed to start talking in one of our rooms until 6.30 hehe... Nowadays, we've been getting up at 8. I might try to get up earlier this year for it, so that the day is longer...

My mum and dad and I are going over to my aunty and uncle's place for lunch; I'll see them, my 2 younger cousins and my grandma and grandpa (mum's side).
It's weird though because for so many years we've always seen all of my mum's family and all of my dad's family on both days or at least one day after the other. I guess things will always be changing though!
