I just thought that some of you might be interested in this, even as non Australians, to see what we were watching in the early 90s. Smile This is Lift-Off. Which I can't fully remember, but it was quite trippy and fun, and had crazy things like frill neck lizards who are investigating humans, a crazy man called Mr Fish who was the landlord, a lift that would take you to wherever you wanted to go and could talk to you, a faceless doll that kept coming to life, backpacks that came to life, a wolf and the three little pigs who'd wear things like leather jackets, and what I *think* was an alien plant, it had a long stalk with an eye on the end... I can't fully remember what it was about, but i just remember it was fun.
And the themesong is really really catchy.
