I also think (and hope) that Russell Porter is as gay as his character.

*COmes in all manageresque to sort everyone out* Well as far as the information I have goes, Tim Marriott isn't gay and is in fact married with at least one child (a boy named Toby) BUT Russell Porter is gay. Hope that clears things up for everyone!  |

Now that IS news.
I am not surprised that Russell is gay. I know that he was acting the part of a gay man in the Brittas Empire, but he put much more into the role than could have been written in a script.

Heya! New here ::settles in to new home:: I figured I'd introduce myself here as this will probably be were I spend most of my time  Err..so..yeah, this is me. Tim/Gavin is my favourite pairing on the show ;D and I love them both dearly! I've love the show since it started and have all the DVDs and inflict them on people as often as possible...and now I've found you guys I can squee with like-minded people  I've had the HUGE pleasure of meeting Chris Barrie and Tim Marriott - well, to be honest, with Tim I just stared and my jaw dragged along the floor...I didn't manage to make any noises that formed coherent words! I met Tim last November, and although the recent pic of him in the pictures thread is gorgeous I can vouch for him being far more stunning in real life! (Helped some that he had nice designer stubble...:ommmmm) I met Chris last Summer at SFX in London, where I was stewarding the con. He was lovely and charming, running around in his shorts whenever he was 'off-duty'. Right...newbie post duly done.  Love Elf xx |

Can I just mention that this board is now taking up large chunk of my life? I'm gonna get in trouble soon...::stuff TBE goodness into her eyeballs:: cos I can't get enough of y'all now I know I'm not the only fan out here And, thinking about it, I'm sure many years ago I was watching TM pimping TBE new series on CBBC and he asked specially if he could wave to his daughter, who'd be watching.... I think he's got two kids then if you say it was his daughter because he's got a son too (says so on his website)

I wouldn't call myself a con steward...more a con artist. If it means getting closer to any of my screen idols I'd do anything!
Randomly I met TM at a friend's private view (guy who was on my course at Uni). I didn't know TM worked at Eastbourne College, although I knew he lived sort of around here. The art show was in the foyer of the theatre, and I was mooching around, wine in hand, absolutely filthy from work, covered in soot and soaking cos it was raining outside...and in walked TM! He grabbed a glass of wine and wandered for a short while before dissapearing upstairs...then returned later. I wanted to go and say something, but a. He was surrounded by his pupils, who were serving the wine etc and b. my jaw was on the floor.
