On the extras section of the boxset it says that there's the royal variety performance from 1996. I haven't got the boxset, so does anyone have any more information about this? What's on it or who's in it?

The dvd box set has lots of additional extras, including the Royal Variety Performance, outtakes and a Good Morning Interview. The Royal Variety Performance I think contains all the main characters (except Laura), it only lasts about five minutes but is very funny.

Thanks for the info - I'm presuming the outtakes are the same as on Youtube (series 4?), but I like the sound of the Royal Variety Performance. I think I may just have to buy it......

I haven't bothered with the set as there's nothing new on it. I have the individual series discs. If I hadn't, I would have considered it.

I don't own any of them - I've just borrowed them from the library, but really want a proper copy. I was just deciding between individual series & the boxset. The boxset looks nice & is pretty cheap from Amazon!!

My DVDs came this morning, after quite a long wait! Hurrah! Can't wait to start watching them all - don't know whether to be disciplined & start from the beginning or dive into the ones with Tim in a lot.
I'm so excited I had to tell folk who understood (friends think I'm a bit mad...).
I'm a happy girl today.

You're probably right - although I had to watch That Creeping Feeling, just because I couldn't remember ever watching it before (very funny one!), and a couple of the Extras. I love the menus on there - I wasn't expecting anything much & thought they were kind of appropriate somehow (specially like the 3d centre one). I go on holiday in a couple of days & am trying hard to wait till I get back before starting at the beginning.......
Still giddy though!

Hope you enjoy your dvd box set, when mine arrived I had to watch them from the beginning, I lost several afternoons where I was just glued to my tv screen! Enjoy! ;D

Oh I will - thank you. I'm starting on Monday when I'll have the TV to myself for a bit. I shall try not to think of them as afternoons lost, but afternoons well spent!!
