This seems a bit of a strange forum for me to join as I haven't really seen that many episodes of The Brittas Empire. Well I say I haven't seen many of them but when it first started I would have been 5 so I may have seen more than I remember. But anyway, recently I found a couple of episodes on the internet and I realised I'd forgotten just how funny they were. I remember the series being funny but it's even funnier than I remember. I love British classic comedy, been brought up on it and I love slightly surreal comedy like the Brittas Empire and sitcoms which just erupt into total chaos by the end of the episode. ;D So basically I thought I'd join. I too was brought up on comedies such as the Brittas Empire and now can't get enough of the series!! You may like to know that there is a box set of all the episodes of The Brittas Empire available to buy, its well worth the investment its given me hours of entertainment!

I just joined the board, too. I hadn't seen the Brittas Empire for quite some time & now they are showing re runs on tv here. I remembered how much I liked this show & fell in love with it all over again.. =) It's really great! I love British comedy. It's the best.

I was the same - watched it when I was younger, completely forgot about it, then watched it again, & just thought, Wow, this is fantastic! I wish they'd repeat it again here (UK) too - it was repeated over & over again, then for quite a few years now, nothing, so I'm sure there's a whole legion of potential fans out there who have just never hard of it!

Yeah, it's the second time they repeat it here on television so I feel quite lucky I'm downloading a bunch of episodes as well. |

Hiya!
Welcome to the board.
Sorry to everyone - I've been quiet for AGES! Just because pesky work etc is so busy.
But tonight I've finally got an evening free - other half is working late, so I've put a Brittas DVD in and am giggling away.
I love this show!
