Greetings from Mississippi, y'all.
My name is Chico Harris and, even though my people are from England and I've spent a little time there and I love things British, I've never heard of The Brittas Empire.
And I have a few questions, around the character Wayne the Dog, as played in the Chop episode by Punch in 1994.
What was this about? What kind of character was Wayne the Dog? I would like to hear from anyone who has any recollection of, thoughts about or knowledge of the character, as to how he came to be named, et cetera.

My interest stems from the great love of my life, my Mississippi Meathound who was named Wayne the Dog. Wayne and I were together from the day he was born, December 21, 1984, to the day he died, April 5, 1997. When he passed, my town of Oxford, Mississippi here in the States had a three-day memorial and a short documentary was made, which can be seen here:

I now live with his ten-year-old grandson, Herman.
Any insight anyone can give me into the Wayne the Dog character would be most appreciated.
