As discussed in the 'Game' thread, thought it would be a nice idea to have a go at a 'Quotes' game where people have to guess who said the line that the last poster in the thread mentions. Can be easy or hard, it's your choice but I guess it makes it more fun if the line was quite short or said quietly etc.
e.g. One person says "Eeeexcellent!" Then the next person says the answer (in this case, obviously Mr Brittas) and then they think of another quote and so on. If you don't know who said it, then I suppose to just say pass? It's up to you really. Let's give it a go!
Ok, I'll start first.
"Damn! They've had a delivery!"

Ooo, that's hard - I'm not passing yet, but will think about it overnight. If anyone else knows, feel free to chip in!

I have wracked my brains over this, & can't place the quote at all. I actually woke up thinking about it this morning.... I'm going to have a guess at Helen, though, as it sounds like the sort of thing she might say (although I have a nagging feeling it might be Colin). Tell me who & when please, & then I can feel really foolish if it turns out to be something really obvious! If I'm right, I'll do a quote, if (as I suspect), I'm well off the mark, you have another go.

You're right in that's Helen, but she says it when she is trying to get off with Vladimir, Brittas' doppelganger, in the towel cupboard. They had had a delivery in the cupboard!
So I'll give you that one! Let's see how well I do! ;D

D'oh! Of course. How about this -
"Well I found some washing up liquid and dried him off in the solarium".

Ooh, I don't know! I have a feeling it's Helen? Is when she is drying the dog in the changing rooms? I forget the name of the episode. Is it from The Chop?

It's actually Gavin, talking about Ben in series 1, when Carole's husband is coming back & they're trying to make them look good.
It's harder than it looks this game - maybe we should try more of a conversation - 2 or three lines? What do you think? It seems too soon to give up on it entirely.

Oh of course it is! ;D I agree in that it is hard, and here was me thinking it would be pretty easy! Yeah, that's a good idea especially if you think it's a fairly difficult one. Do you want to do another one, seeing as I didn't get that one?

Right, I've gone for what I think is a pretty easy one - there's 2 people to guess here.....
"Oh, erm... could I do Sainsburys?" "Pardon?" "Well, I'm planning a casserole for this evening and if I did Sainsburys then I could ... It doesn't matter."
Sorry for this being a long time coming - I'm back now!

Hehe! That's okay! I've been a little bit absent too, but I'll always have time to check what's going on here. I believe that is from 'The Christening' from Series 4. It's Tim and Brittas. Tim wants to go to Sainsbury's to look for the children - for his own reasons! Okay! How about this one: "Have you seen Gordon?" "Yes, he's in the restroom, giving a fascinating talk about YOUR body!"

You are absolutely right, of course. I'm not as certain about this, but I'm guessing it's Carole to Helen in Body Language? (Do you know without checking I'm suddenly not sure that's the title of an episode, but it sounded so right... I mean the one with all the stuff about body language "matching and mirroring"!). If I'm wrong, I'll guess again, because there's another episode it could be from.... I'm quite enjoying this.

Just about right! Only it's Helen and Colin. It is indeed from 'Body Language' as well! Your turn! This is very fun! ;D

I was close, then... Give this a go - I think it's fairly easy.....
"I have asked him to leave. We do not need peop..." "I love you." "He's doing it again, the disgusting little pervert."

Gordon and Colin, from Mr Brittas Changes Trains! I'm almost positive! Am I right? ;D

I knew that was too easy. I shall be more obscure next time! Your turn.....
