I don't know. Try reading alot of RD slash (that's what I've been doing ) Ok maybe I shouldn't have said that. I was just being nosey, seeing what all the fuss was about...

I'm a slaser. I love slash! Nothing to be ashamed of. But, I'm only a RD slasher, and only Rimmer/Lister.
I was unsure at first, but I've been reading it since Easter, and I'm obsessed.

Well that's made me feel better!
That's all I've been reading RD wise, I was going to read a Rimmer/Cat one but I didn't really like the idea.
Technically I have written slash (Gavin/Tim) but I don't know whether that counts?

I read a Rimmer/Cat and a Lister/Cat... Quite scary. Oh, and there was a... Skutter/Talkie Toaster one, which was a bit... Uhh...
Tim/Gavin... I don't think that counts, because you're not putting them with somone of the same sex when they're straight... Although, it could be classed as slash to some people. I wouldn't say it was. What I meant by that ramble was, you're not changing their sexuality...

Ah right, I did wonder.
I read a rimmer/todhunter one that was..interesting. And a Holister/Todhunter one that was a bit of a suprise!

I read a Hollister/Todhunter one too... They're both called Frank, right? I think they are, which is a coincidense.
The only problem I find with reading fics with pairing in (I don't mean pairings that have happened, like for example Gordon and Helen Brittas), I never watch the program in the same way again really, I always look out for little hints or... well, stuff.
The reason I love Lister/Rimmer, is because the first ever episode I saw was 'Blue'. Now my favourite epiosde... and, well, it was just a slasher's paradise.

Lol yeah. I've been watching RD for years and after seeing that I suddenly started to notice other bits in the older ones, and now I've been reading these fics it's just getting worse!
Yeah they are both called Frank.

Thought so. I don't fancy Todhunter. I don't. I don't.
Slash is odd at first... I felt, "I like this... But I SHOULDN'T like this... But yet, I do. But I shouldn't..."
Oh and then, "I'll just read... Just one more."

Haha, that's great!
There's something about him, isn't there... He's not like Rimmer, who you just KNOW is... 'good looking'... He's... Todhunter. ;D
Yeah, the only problem is, there's loads of RD L/R slash out there, and I've read most of it (Or alot of it anyway). And I read most of it in my first few days of being a slasher.

Ahh Todhunter...there's just no other way of describing him is there? I think that's the trouble I'm having, I seem to have read most of them already! anyway, I better get some sleep, got ot work tomorow (but it's nearly the weekend! Yay!)

Exactly, he's just Todhunter, like Brittas is just Brittas, and Rimmer is just Rimmer. Although, I can think of other words to describe Chris Barrie! Yay, can't wait for the weekend. I never can wait for the weekend! Also, nearly time for series 4, play.com rocks

this is one of my personal favorites... just the standard, typical, Brittas disaster scene

That is a good one! It summs him up really well. Walking disaster area that's impossible to get rid of, but still well meaning and sweet!
