is the one where they met female versions of themselves. I'm not a red dwarf fan but that episode I found amusing. The main dude - the one with the liverpool accent- i think his counterpart was a bit of a slob and would burp alot and i think he left her because "she thought that videos of two blokes doing it would turn me on" (or something like that) and the other guy, his counterpart had car mags with pictures of half naked guys on it and he found it offensive....
forgive me, my facts may not be correct but it has been years and years since I have seen this episode

I actually haven't seen that episode... but i know what happens, and that's about right! The guys were getting all bothered because the women in the other dimension were grabbing them sexually and stuff...

That's Parallel Universe, that is. ;D Series 2. It's weird being on a Chris Barrie-related board with people who don't know their Listers from their Krytens...

I think its a first for me too, lol. I *love* Parallel Universe, even though there's not much plot. Lots of gender theory and characterisation. And Wormdo.

It's weird because with me (and many other fans) it was a sort of... transition from Rimmer to Brittas! But, fair enough, RD was NEVER my cup of tea until I caught the end of TEH ~*Blue*~ one day on UKG2.. Edited for the fact that I cannot spell 'one', thankyouuuu.

I saw Brittas Empire when i was about 13 I think. I saw Red Dwarf when I was 16, (that's just when i discovered it, and also my mum wasn't too keen on me watching a lot of stuff) but i didn't really connect it with Brittas Empire at all. I could remember Brittas Empire, but I put Red Dwarf first in my mind... so i was like 'ooo Mr Brittas was like a more extreme Rimmer!'
Anyway, i LOVE red dwarf, but i haven't seen most of the second series and part of the first.
