Then get youselves down to the NEC birmingham on the weekend of 27th-28th November (although the exact date of his attendence is TBC) Along with Chris are Craig Charles and Robbert Llewelyn (plus a heck of a lot of others really but I thought they were the best ones to mention!!) With any luck I'll be going on the Sunday (mainly because I'll be at someones 50th birthday party (oddly enough dressed as Rimmer!) on the Saturday night) Might see some of you there!?! ;D

Grrrr why do I have to live so far away from Birmingham?
Needless to say I won't be there unfortunately, I'll just be at work, moaning to anyone who will listen.

Well what can I say? OK so this time I was still as nervous as the first time I met him but as soon as he said 'Hello' the fear vanished in a flash and I was able to be totaly myself and feel really at ease! *Congratulates self for good behaviour* I handed him the Brittas script I've got and I could tell by his face he thought it was going to be an RD one and then seemed totally shocked that it was a brittas one. He just looked up at me and said 'It's a Brittas Empire one!' with a real look of surprise on his face and preceded to have a good look at it saying things like 'wow that was a long time ago. Takes me right back!' I even managed to tell him about the site and he asked me for the address!!!! (which I gave him!) When he'd signed it given it back to me and had a photo done, I shook his hand (wow does that bloke have a firm grip! He gave my hand a real good squeeze!) and he told me to keep up the good work!!! ;D ;D ;D Needless to say I had a huge grin on my face for the rest of the day!!! ;D He really is a lovely person and was a real pleasure to meet! Photo's to follow once I've finished the film (it's a 36 exposure and muggins here thought it was only a 24!!! ) Oooh nearly forgot, if you want a laugh look here (it's me about to go to my uncles party!): img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/Rickman101/MeRimmer.jpg

I met Chris Barrie about 10 years ago when he officially opened my local swimming pool after rebuilding: Northcroft Recreation Centre in Newbury, Berkshire. He was there in his guise of Mr Brittas, with all the stereotypes and catch-phrases! (And even some typical Mr B tasteless comments about the staff of Northcroft!) Unfortunately I wasn't such a huge fan at the time so I didnt really pay much attention (*regrets*), I was only really there because my mother worked at the Centre.
