i'm assuming its the song about having a dream that she sings to Mr Brittas senior when that russian pianist is there. He says "If you don't have a dream" and she sings something like "how are you going to have a dream come trueeeee" and then gets embarrrassed.

'Happy Talk' is the song. It was also covered by Captain Sensible and made the top 10 [think it may have made #1!] in the early 80's.
