other leisure centre staff

I saw Two Little Boys today, and I was wondering if anyone else thought of this. I'm on my second viewing, and it just came to me.
You know how there are the people from the other leisure centre, there on their staff trip?
And how there are three main ones of them who are talking? Do you think that they're supposed to be the other leisure centre's parallels of Tim, Gavin and Linda?
You know how in Father Ted, if you watch Father Ted, all the parochial houses are filled with an Elderly priest, a Middle aged priest, and a young (often stupid) priest? I was wondering if they were doing a sort of similar thing for this episode. But of course they have 36 staff members because their staff haven't been scared off by a Mr Brittas.

A few times it just looked very... Tim, Gavin and Linda.

He seems to have been played by different actors in different series though.

There was a different "Patrick" in Series 1, but another actor played him consistently from Series 2 up until the end. He got pretty conspicuous in some eps like "Brittas Changes Trains" where he was actually part of the story. It's the one where Carole, Colin, Linda and Patrick were hypnotized into doing things. Patrick even got to have somewhat of a line ("ooohghhmgh") I think it was. What's the deal with him? I don't see him in the credits so I don't know what his real name is.

When I saw the episode I thought they were like Tim, Gavin and Linda, the way they act around each other and stuff, its similar, but I thought I could just be reading too much into it.
