Favourite food??... Hmm... I am not sure of that one!
From what I can gather I don't think he felt the shorts were ever an issue! They worked in a leisure centre - I guess it was to be expected!
He did get some media attention but got more comments when he was out and about. He is still recognised nowadays.
He works as a training consultant these days for large corporations and organisations.
I can see I am going to have to actually ASK him some of these questions as I don't know some of them myself!!
I have loads of photos of Russell. Will have to ask his approval for which photo to publish. Can anyone tell me how the hell I do it on here?!

We don't want to pry into Russell's life too much, we're just all very curious to know more about him. I think for most people, seven years of Russell in shorts was a very pleasing sight:) Photobucket, as inkling said, is how i put my photos here. it's free and very simple. load a photo up and then use the link script that it provides for you to put them up here. Question: How good a swimmer is he? He played a pool attendant in Brittas so just curious. Does he have a favourite sport? |

I want to see more blinkin' outtakes. I love them. Especially Julia's Tourette-ish outburst.... gives an idea of how much fun it would be backstage.

Does he have his own copies of Brittas Empire on tape/dvd?
He lived through it so he might not, thought i'd ask anyway

Russell got on really well with all the cast. He was friendly with Mike (aka. Colin) as he did panto with him too. Generally it seems that the cast got on well together.
He has all the episodes on tape but doesn't watch them these days! I think that at the end of every series the cast and crew were issued with outtakes. I saw one tape of those which was very funny!
As for "seedy gossip", I am not sure I have any of that to divulge!!

He was flattered! I think he was a little embarrassed too - for all the RIGHT reasons! Generally very flattered though. |
