Well it could indeed be Mr Porter!!!
Doing a bit of reaserch at lunch I found something interesting. The thing is I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't accidently spelt Brittas wrong (I didn't tap the T enough times *D'Oh!*)
It was on a south London message board dated August 2004!
Now since I know that Mr Marriott resides in the Eastbourne area I'm guessing it's our Timmy!!!! (Unless he's commuting???)
I'm sure this has facinated people and made me look like a stalker. I'm not! It's just good to know he still exists!!!!

It could indeed be Russell, as it would fit with the one and only piece of information I have about what he is doing now. To the best of my knowledge he is working as a buisness developement consultant in West London. He is still just as cute, but a little more grown up looking  |

Cool thanks for that. I did get an e mail from a guy the other day about him (he'd found something on an actor in the states by the same name and looked rather like him) but neither of us were sure. Nice ot know he's still ujst as cute, lol.  |

I know about the guy in the states but as far as I know he was born in the US and has only worked over there. He teaches theatre skills when he isn't performing (or did anyway), and he has done some presenting. I think he is a bit younger too. Admitedly he is quite cute.
There have actually been at least 4 actors by the name of Russell Porter, and some times all their work gets credited to one person or mixed up a bit. I don't believe our Russell ever did anything other than Brittas Empire.

He is indeed Welcome to the board, I'm Totoffle, the resident.. Um... Well, I don't actually have a title. But welcome anyway . (Sorry. Just watched RD series 5, backwards, I'm in one of my moods.) You'll fit in juuuuuust fine, I have a feeling. A feeling... A feeling that I now need to lie down. (Just ignore me, I make no sense.) And on another note, I have three words, and a date for you. Brittas. Series. Six. 21/02/2005 (According to play.com . Oh... grrr, that's more words.) Same date as RD Series 6, apparently. Whoo, double dosage. |

Have just been watching series 4 of the Brittas Empire and though Tim looks as lovely as ever, it's such a shame that the show made him wear those long shorts after 3 series of the very sexy tight shorts!!!  |

It’s incredible that no one knows what has happened to Russell Porter. Have any of the cast kept in touch with him? Is anyone in touch with any members of the cast that may be able to shed any light on the whereabouts of Russell?

Unfortunately though, I should imagine as he has left TV Land and has not actively tried to remain in the public eye (ie, so few references on the net), it might mean he does not WANT to be contacted by the public...
Nevertheless, without wishing to cause a panic, and without wishing to get arrested for stalking, I know where he lives. Obviously I'm not going to invade his privacy by posting it on the web (I would hate someone to do that to me), but as I say in the post on the 'Contact' thread, we could try contacting him....

If Russell doesn’t want to be contacted then we would have to respect that. However, we don’t know why he is no longer in show business. If the work dried up he would have to earn a living somehow, and there is no reason to presume that he is not interested in his time in the public eye.
If you know where he lives then perhaps you can make tentative enquiries to find out how he feels about being contacted by people that admire him and his work.

Russell strikes me as the kind of person who would be instantly recognisable as his past self. Much like Chris Barrie, Julia St. John and Pippa Haywood in that respect.
