That's what I thought at first but then again, thoes three (Chris especially) have stayed in the public eye and so we've watched them age and so wouldn't notice changes so much as they would seem gradual for us. With Russell he seemed to dissappear at a young age and so could have changed quite a bit! Especially since he was last on our screens 8 years ago!

completely random thought, and prolly doesn't belong on this thread, but I was here when I thought of it: I didn't know Russell was a judge at Mr Gay UK...back in '97 I think. But I found out the other day. So just in case some others also didn't know that..uh, yeah. Public service announcement. He was. Love Elf xx ;D

Yeah I found that out too! It was the same year Johnathan Kerrigan did it (the fabulous Sam in Casualty!!) I think I mentioned it on here somewhere (cant for the life of me remember where though!)
Thanks for reminding me about that!!

Just to let you all know, the Russell Porter that works for the consultancy agency tymconsult.com is not our Russell. I was in touch with him earlier today and he confirmed that he is not the person we are looking for. He does however wish us luck with trying to find the right Russell Porter!

*gazes forlornly at long, long list of Julia St Johns* ...So I have to get in touch with the ENTIRE world complement of Julia St.Johns?

In 1995 Russell Porter was Orlando in the Stafford Shakespere Festival production of As you Like it. I'm assuming since it was on British turf, and the year 1995 that it's our boy.

Cailen...are you the author of one of Kanna's rec'd fanfics? If so, you're a great writer. If you're an L/B shipper in any way, shape or form, then you're also my new best friend! Heheheheh. Anyway; welcome a-board.

Blimey, she works fast. Yes I am, and thank you! I haven't felt the urge to write a l/b fic. Should it ever come to me you'll be the first to know. I think L/b are a sweet couple, and I enjoy reading fics with that pairing, though Tim/Gavin remain close to my heart.

Ah, I love fanfickers.
And especially people who write Red Dwarf/Harry Potter - The Cat/Hagrid slash.

I think I'm glad to say that I haven't come across that in my travels.

It's not like I'm doing my best to enslave, with gentle encouragement, thousands of good writers to write for the fandom. No evil plots here at all. (And welcome to the board!) Want more Tim/Gavin more than anything. Except possibly Gavin/Gordon. And Helen/Carole. And Helen/Laura. And Linda/Jenny. And Linda/Gavin. And possibly Gavin/Jenny. ~hasn't quite got the hang of the whole OTP thing~ But yes. Mostly Tim/Gavin.
