not sure if this is the right board for this but:
What season has the 'most' Tim and Gavin? I can probably afford to buy only one season so any help would be appreciated. Also I have seen the eppy where gavin 'dies' can anyone tell me what season thats in?

Gavin Featherley R.I.P is season 7. Series 7 also has the campfire kiss.
I'd say season four has the most cute Tim/Gavin moments in it. (When Romans attack, Shall we dance, Biggles tells a lie, etc...)
Season 5 has the fight and then Gavin punching Brittas for attacking Tim.
Series 6 Gavin has gone all management and Tim pushes him in the pool.
Series 1, 2, and 3 I'd say have the least Tim/Gavin moments but the moments they do have are cute. Like the Jumper tug in series 1 or when Gavin gets shot. Or when Brittas calls Tim a 'left footer' and Gavin is not impressed.

I've only watched most of the shows once, so I can't remember very well, but I think you're right about season 4 having the most cute Tim/Gavin moments.  |

Series 6 Gavin has gone all management and Tim pushes him in the pool. S6 also has Tim following a Gavin who's testing eyedrops and can't see well saying he wants the old Gavin back. I think with everything else that's going on in that particular episode (which is extremely sillier than normal) i was laughing too much to be healthy. |

I've only just voted because I've only just seen them all.
I went for the camp fire kiss, just because it makes my tummy go all strange! Also, Gavin gets to keep his arm round Tim, & later on in that one Tim's got his head on Gavin & they're cuddling again.
Sooooo cute.

I've been thinking about this & actually, I think my favourite Tim & Gavin moment is actually in series 5 when they're sitting in the roof & Tim's filling the water tank. Apart from Gavin telling Tim he's definitely the best man for the deputy managers post, it's just so rare to see them on their own together for any length of time. It's just lovely & intimate that Gavin is effectively hiding up there with Tim waiting to hear Brittas's bad news, because he only wants to be with Tim. I hate the toilet dream part of it, but I just like them being together on their own. Shame they don't make the most of their privacy, then it'd probably be everyone's favourite moment!

To be honest, I didn't really like this scene. Sure it was nice to see them on their own together but I didn't interpret it in the same way as you did. Was Gavin really saying Tim was the best man for the deputy manager job? Or was he skirting around the subject? Earlier he was trying to get Linda involved in management. It seems to me that once Gavin had got power he would have forgotten any promises he'd made to Tim... I don't know what changed with Gavin's character in series 5... |

A shame that we never saw a real kiss though (or have I missed something). Another moment which hasn't been mentioned is S4E7: The Chop: Gavin: Why can't I be a wise virgin like Tim? Tim: I think you're lucky to be a virgin at all.  Okay, the smiley was mine, but it was very appropriate. #Paulie On the other hand, I think he also said that he needed two deputy managers, so asking Linda would not necessarily be an obstacle for Tim becoming a deputy manager too. |

Paulie - I never saw it like you did, I always thought Gavin would have given Tim the job whatever, & he seemed very pleased about oing it to me too. Certainly power does go to his head, but he never gives up on Tim despite him being a much lower grade. The only thing that does make me doubt his sincerity (now you've put the thought in my head) is that Tim doesn't know how much Gavin gets paid, & I always thought that was very odd. |
