Maybe Gavin was being sincere (it would be nice to think he was). I seem to have a different interpretation on a lot of scenes than most of you do...
And speaking of pay (this is slightly off topic) in 'The Boss' what is it Tim says at the start. He asks Brittas "Is Gavin getting a raise?" and then Brittas says something like "The rewards are satisfaction rather than monetary remuneration" or something - and then there's some canned laughter. During the canned laughter Tim says something to Gavin but I can't hear what it is over the canned laughter!!!

A shame that we never saw a real kiss though (or have I missed something). Oh, I wish........... Paulie - I never saw it like you did, I always thought Gavin would have given Tim the job whatever, & he seemed very pleased about oing it to me too. Certainly power does go to his head, but he never gives up on Tim despite him being a much lower grade. The only thing that does make me doubt his sincerity (now you've put the thought in my head) is that Tim doesn't know how much Gavin gets paid, & I always thought that was very odd. Me too! I know what my gf earns and vice versa. Maybe Gavin would be a bit more sensible with money and did not let on to Tim so he could tuck some away for a rainy day (rather than let Tim think there's extra money available for leather trousers...)  One of my favourite moments was when he hid away with Tim, everyone has times at work like that (I do anyway) where you just want to shut out everyone else. I also enjoyed their giddyness over the dance/Brittas and Laura gossip in Shall we Dance so that's the one I voted for. |

I'd forgotten about the Laura gossip - it's a lovely funny one, & don't you just love the way Gavin is leaning on the vending machine?
Paulie - I'm not assuming my interpretation is right, I could be well off key, but it just seemed that the only person Gavin wanted to be with was Tim in that scene. I need to go & watch it again...
Oh, & in The Boss, I haven't seen it for a while, but if memory serves me correctly, he says "told you" or words to that effect (I knew it, possibly? There again need to do more Brittas watching! But it's definitely something on those lines)

Did the 'campfire kiss' occur in Surviving Christmas? I don't think I've ever noticed them kissing or even a little peck, which I'm guessing happens in the 'campfire kiss'. I'm assuming it's a very brief yet sweet moment. |

One of my fave Tim & Gavin moments (also in that video) is when the Roman's are attacking and Gavin shields Tim from the stuff getting thrown at them. I always 'awww' at that bit.  |

It is very cute - there's also a cute (blink & you miss it) scene with Tim's head resting on Gavin's lap in the same episode.

I voted for the jumper pull in episode 1. The relationship was obvious to everyone - except Brittas - loved it
