Okay, can someone please explain the whole "Tim, you're a woman, by the way you're also pregnant" thing? And apparently Gordon was trying to 'check'? What happened with that?

LMAO! Quite possibly the funniest scene in series 5. Brittas was doing his annual check on staff urine to see if they used drugs but when they came back they all resulted in pregnancy... well all of the womens and Tims. Julie was pregnant and she collected the samples, but she dropped them and had to fill them herself so thats why Tims looked like he was pregnant. Brittas just assumed the sample was correct and accused Tim of pretending to be a man just so he could get a job there. When Tim refused to admit he was a woman, Brittas tried to take Tims trousers off and when Tim was shouting for help Gavin leapt over the reception desk and went to save Timmy... he punched Brittas in the face and thats how Tim and Gavin got to be speaking again. And thats about it really... a few other moments happened in it but that was the big scene

Should also add that Gavin was in reception looking after it and the children for Carole. Carole had taken a baby monitor up with her to see Brittas, and had left it there. Brittas put a file down on the 'on' button just prior to trying to take our Tim's shorts off so Gavin heard the shouting in the drawer! As he points out to Laura and Helen, just prior to the leap over the desk.

It was around the time Tim found out Gavin had been training to be a manager and they weren't on the best of terms... they spoke, but there was tension cuz Tim was annoyed that Gavin would become a Brittas.

oh good. But omg that whole leaping over the desk thing and punching Gordon just is like... soooo adorable! I mean that it's just like, Gavin's reaction to hearing his Tim shouting for help. Not like dithering about going 'omg what's brittas doing... erm... get off him!'

yeah I know! and he risked losing his job over it... cuz Gavin went home he thought he wasn't welcome back... but he did it anyways for Tim... even though they were arguing! HOW CUTE!!! Someone should write a 'what happens next' scene!

Oh totally. Instinct/Love just kicked in for him, that overcomes all fights. And is more important than his job. Anyone who says that Tim and Gavin don't really love each other because they fight quite a bit are blind...

EXACTLY! also in that epi they are talking bout carol and colin getting married and Tim says 'why not, collins a warm and loving man who doesn't care about his job more than his partner... which is more than some of us have got!'... thats at the start of the episode but by the end ... when Gavin saves Tim from Brittas, all is forgotten ;D

Tim has some issues. But... he's not completely unjustified in his fear. He might be exaggerating a bit and have like, built it up in his mind... but. He doesn't want to lose the love of his life to a job.

YES! I Think Tim is being totally reasonable... after all... Gavin went behind his back to do it... like Tim said just after kicking Gavin in a place where I'm sure Gavin didn't want to be kicked lol ... 'You're not spose to keep secrets from me!'

ouch he did that?? gah. But yeah. Tim does worry a lot about stuff. He like, builds it up in his mind. And he does overreact quite a bit. But, the *basic* stuff there is fairly justified. Lying to him, going behind his back, the fear that he's going to turn all workaholic and brittas-like, etc. I think Tim must have had some bad things happen in his past though sometimes...

Yeah I think Gavin is the more secure one in the relationship... but then I think Tim is the more secure one about his sexuality.
and yes .... after they had been dragged apart from fighting Tim got one last kick in lol.
