The makers of the DVD’s currently on sale seem to have ignored the popularity of Russell in their packaging. The discs feature the image of Chris Barrie quite a lot, which is only natural as he was the star. Others however have featured on individual DVDs but noticeably not Russell. Looking at the postings on this site, the stars who get the most posts are Chris, Russell and Tim, so it’s a pity that the DVDs don’t recognise this popularity. I suppose it is too much to hope that the final series will promote Russell by including him on a disc artwork  |

There's quite a sweet picture of him in one of the discs where all the staff are in the burned-out kitchen and GB has a fire extinguisher. I can remember which series atm.

You're quite right Stuart, Russell is shown along with other cast members in the packaging but nothing to himself such as his picture on one of the discs or even a publicity picture somewhere in the pack. The latest series features publicity pictures of Mr Brittas, Mr Brittas and Helen, Colin, and also Helen. The discs have Mr Brittas on one and Colin on the other. Even the graphics showing the episodes features members of the cast, but very pointedly not our Russell. |

I was always quite annoyed everytime I opened a new dvd that Laura hardly featured at all in the artwork. She was on one solo pic in series 3, along with the birth shot behind the discs. And that's it.

We now have series 7 with Tim and Gavin holding the balloon while wearing Macho Mac t-shirts. Pity they're not smiling though.

What I like is how every DVD opening is different, It's fun. But you're right, there should be more of the other characters on the disks.

i noticed one on the series 2 one, it still said angie on the lockers although she wasn't there anymore, also i dunno if its only my disks but both series 4 disks say disk 1 but have the different episodes on, anyone else have that?

oh yeah i noticed the angie mistake cuz i watched series two before series one and i was like 'who is angie?' :S... as for series 4 discs mine say disc 1 and disc 2.
