I think he's just messing with Brittas' head ;D
Brittas already thinks he's gay, but has no proof.

I have just watched the scene you are talking about and loved the way Tim flirted playfully with Brittas. I saw it as a typically playful remark that I would expect from many gay men.
Considering that Tim is so young and good looking he always comes over as being very loyal to his partner, always worrying about what Gavin might be getting up to so I don't think he was really suggesting anything to Brittas.
It was a delightfully camp scene and Russell played it beautifully using body language and his eyes to perfection.

I think there's nothign Tim likes more than winding Brittas up. That scene is a real gem though, I was laughing for ages with that bit!!

*g* I was reading the scene as Tim either hitting on Brittas, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why, or offering to set him up with, um, professional services. Neither seemed a particularly tasteful thing to do in front of Gavin.
This explanation fits into my head much better. Thank you all kindly for sorting it out. ~smiles~

I just watched this episode last night and I almost melted.
IT"S SUCH A SMOULDERING LOOK
He stares at him with those eyes (while Gavin laughed in the background as Brittas looks very unimpressed)
THOSE EYES
And then when Brittas turns away, Tim keeps staring at him all smoulderingly!!!!
