What do we know about Tim's family - obviously his dad is mentioned, and his mother in...Chester? I don't remember without my eps. Does anyone else ever get a mention? Any siblings?
All help gratefully received - or just chat/conjecture - it's all good!

come across from East Germany to Britain. Only canon from the initial writers was his mother in Cheshire. There is no mention of siblings, father or other relatives in the first 5 series. Saying that, Gavin only really got a family in S7.

Gavin got so much family though! It seems unfair that Tim only got a mother in Cheshire (It sounds a bit like Chester though, right??).
I'll have to invent something for fic then, I guess.

Ooo half siblings in Germany coming to find the old love their father and then finding they have a brother! Maybe Tim has a twin! Maybe he's got older siblings which came across with his mother as did he. Maybe his dad does eventually leave the former East Germany and come to Britain looking for his old love and mother of his child(ren).

I think he'd have half brothers/sisters. That's really common with the whole german split thing going on.
I don't know why, but i've always imagined him having a brother and a sister. Ie, ones who live with him, not half siblings.
