The sign on the door reads 'Sauna Suite', so it's logical to assume it's steam. Still no reason for them to be in there getting steamy though ;D xx

ahaha! That's good then. Makes a LOT more sense. Which implies to me that there was no real smoking going on in there lol Though, that doesn't explain why that says sauna suite, and t hen the sauna that Carol gave birth in looks totally different? Do they have two saunas?

As the sign says 'saune suite' I imagine that inside is everything to do with the sauna - changing area, all the other therapy areas, the sauna, solarium etc. I know we're in pre-Penny era, but most of what we saw then must already be roughly in place.
So that still doesn't really explain the steam - that should be INSIDE the saunas, not floating about the general area. And I can't imagine it hiding much ciggy smoke - or not the smell, anyway.
I imagine that the writers just found it amusing to use the sauna for steamy goings-on...or that's what they wanted us to think.

Looking at the pics I placed, I don't think I can see any smoke. Maybe I'm just seeing things.

And the sign was sauna so it was steam (unless that was just a cover for the smoke?) And was it the same sauna door as used in Changes Trains but from another angle? Hold on Am remembering scenes and I think it opened the other way. AArgh my head hurts (and my tummy's empty)
