It's not just First of the Summer Wine which had BE people in. David Crean (Farrell) and Richard Braine (Horatio) were in Jeeves and Wooster (with Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie). Richard ended up playing two characters (Rupert Steggles in the first series and Gussie Fink Nottle in Series 3 & 4), while David was only in one episode. Haven't found anyone else yet.

I got the MegaSet for only £19.99 in some sale or other. I love Hugh Laurie singing ;D Did David Crean play Lucius Pim, by any chance? He's the only truly slimy American in the series I can think of ;D

I love them. I cannot help but cackle and fall over in laughter every time I hear Hugh Laurie sing esp the Mystery song

I keep randomly getting that song about Nagasaki from Jeeves and Wooster in my head... "the earth shakes milkshakes ten cents a piece" and "Back in Nagasaki where the men all chew tabbacy and the women wicky wacky woo' in particular.

I've not seen this but I did see a documentary on Fry and Laurie the other day and it made me want to watch. I shall keep an eye out for some DVD's in the shops.

Their audio tapes are hilarious too, esp the long involved one about Jeeves falling out of the window and landing on a small boy

Is it just me or does anyone else have severe issues reconciling Hugh Laurie as House MD and Jeeves and Wooster or Prince Regent?

yes, I do. What annoys me though is when American fans of House don't even realise that Hugh is English or has done comedy stuff where he's not all snarky.
