Which would mean that the Olympics would be an economic disaster for Britain. So I do think he would not be allowed any where near it. Maybe they should ask Laura? She's got a lot more sense. Not Colin as no one would want to work too close to him in case he has something contageous.

Well the fun is in that Brittas would accidently get the job and no-one could bear to tell him he shouldn't do it. He'd hire laura nd maybe Gavin as his deputies in charge of olympic sports wet and olympic sports dry; Colin would get to look after the equestrian events - and keep the dung; Carole would man the ticket booth alone so as to keep things in an "ordely manner" (this of course meant a big line of spectators and many forms they have to fill out depending on which sport they are actually wanting to watch); he might get Linda to look after the athletes changing areas but also use her as a spy for any athletes who could be suspiciously taking drugs (a good set up here - which means he'd probably ban all the top athletes for no reason); TIm could be used in a number of ways, probably menial jobs that he doesn't like doing such as measuring the country flags,, searching each athlete before they enter the arena, he may be asked to be a pool attendant at the water events ( a job he would enjoy a lot and might make Gavin quite jealous); Brittas would scrutinise all the judging in every event; he'd want the whitbury flag to fly with the winning country's flag on the pole; th eathletes would have to fill out a number of forms before they competed and if they won before they collected their medals to see if they are actually worthy of them; no food or drink will be served in the area because of unwanted litter; all athletes are to wear the same uniform.... this thing practically writes itself.
If anyone does write a fic about this and you like any of those idea, use them..... ithink it would be hilarious - worhty of a TV reunion special!!

Julie ;D ;D ;D Jules I have a number of friends that live in the East London area of Stratford and they are also pleased about the Olympics. Not for the same reason as you though. It's gonna put the price of their properties up  David |
