Yuletide Treasure!

In the intertests of promoting Britcom fic in general and TBE in particular...

I don't have anything officially to do with it, but I'd like to plug the third Now We Dream of Yuletide Treasure rare fandoms kris kringle. Basically everyone suggests three or four stories in rare fandoms they want written, and lists *everything* they are willing to write, and a massive computer processing thing is done to secretly match people up so hopefully everyone gets a story on Christmas Day. I've done it both years and it's fabulous, and there was a Brittas Empire story written for it last year.

If you're a new sign-up you need to fill someone's unfulfilled request from last year, but I think multiple people can do the same one... and there's definitely a Brittas Empire request on the <a href="http://www.yuletidetreasure.org/unfilled.shtml">unfilled</a> page.

~prods you all to sign up and request/write British fandoms~ I'm pretty sure I'll request a TBE fic and I'll *definitely* list myself as willing to write it. ~grin~ I think I might request Maid Marian or 'Allo 'Allo as well.

(And, you know, obviously it's not just for Britcoms. Anime or books or whatever is equally welcome).

lol... wow, asking for a Maid Marian one! I'm impressed!

I'd do it, but people would be disappointed with mine, as they're often so short. But i'm ABLE to write for many fandoms... But they're short lol

I think there was a thousand word minimum last year, which is standard for fic challenges. But then, I can't write that short if I try. ~grin~ I think my official story was about five thousand words, and the two emergency pinch-hit ones were more like a couple of thousand.

If you write short, I know at least one story that was actually a collection of themed drabbles, each exactly a hundred words.

I may well get MM or TBE written for me, or end up writing it. I have fans on my flist... whydah has the most fabulous MM icons. But choosing my requests and changing over and over before signup is part of the fun.
