So, as a point of personal interest, and as a way of working out how to attract more 'customers', I would appreciate if you could tell us how you found this board! Was it through someone's LJ, imdb.com, wikipedia.com, word of mouth...?

I think it was a search engine.. I actually found the place when it was first set up (before ANYONE joined) but then I lost the link and found it again later on.

I googled it, found it, lost it, found it again, joined, fuckered up the joining...joined again...but I can remember having an impossible time finding it for the second time, which sucked, cos I knew you were all here GAH!! but I just couldn't think of what search terms I'd used the first time.
I shall now go add pimpage to my ElJay ;D

I found the site when searching for information on Russell Porter (surprise, surprise). Had a look round and then lost the details. Found the site again and have been coming back ever since.

I never Googled when bored at work. I Alta Vista'd. OK Search on Brittas Empire cos the DVD's were still being released (nice and sparkly (take the cellophane off you fool!)) so I was trudging through lists of loads of useless sites (like Amazon, not that it's useless but why would I be searching to buy something I owned?) looking for something good about TBE. 'Twas on page 4 or 5 (or later? Can't remember, I've had a baby since!) and I joined and have been killing off threads ever since. But hey, I'm now at a management level!!

I think I was doing the same as David and looking for infor on Russell Porter, screenshots mostly, and I got linked to the russell section of this place and voila.
