WARNING: If you do not want to have your disbelief no longer suspended, and see it come crashing to the ground, do not read on... I noticed in the episode 'Back with a Bang' you can see how they get the car in the river at the end of the episode - when Helen crashes the car because she think the bomb is in the back. If you look at the rear end (of the car!! ) you can see some kind of rope with a green bush / bit of plant covering the join to the car! The only problem is now, like all these kind of things, I can't NOT notice it anymore. Anyone else got similar things they've discovered? Susie xXx

ooh....Carole's sex-changing twin babies. In the episode she had them they were both boys, another ep, a boy and a girl (Emily and Tom) and then twin girls (Emily and Jessica) Hmm.

Not exactly a continuity error...but does anyone else's Season Four DVDs have two 'disc 1's, even though all the episodes are there, they just wrongly printed a 1 on the second disc not a 2. Love Elf xx

There's one on the Christmas special when they're all stuck in the leisure centre. Julie's there but it should be Angie or something like that. Can't remember all the details.

I've found a big, obvious, stupid mistake that I've never noticed before!
In 'Opening Day', watch just as Laura tells Brittas that the Duchess of Kent has arrived.
...watch the door as Brittas touches it. Tiz all I'm saying.

...and in 'Not a Good Day' when Brittas runs through the now unharmed doors that we've just seen propped up against the wall in Reception

...watch the door as Brittas touches it. Tiz all I'm saying. ~watches~ ~dies~ I can't believe they didn't reshoot that... and for the whole rest of the scene? At the end of S1, Carole has clearly become pregnant from an affair with Mr Wilson of the Building Society, who has just gone and got married, because she thought she didn't need to use contraception if she was breastfeeding. Which makes one wonder why she later things she conceived during a chance encounter with a man in a gorilla suit at the part of Julie, who she hasn't even met yet.

In GFRIP, when Gavin's seemingly just been rescued by the pirates, there is a rather obvious and large amount of land visible behind him.
I can't believe that someone who Brittas will have trained to save thousands of people from global warming induced flash floods can't swim the short way to the shore...
Oops.

...and in the 'Christmas Special' with S7, there seems to be a remarkably non-winterishness about the exterior shots. As they climb on the minibus there are a lotta leaves on the trees etc.
Maybe Whitbury has an amazingly temperate climate...

Hell, they should have filmed the Empire in Scotland. We get snow in July, for god's sake. And that's not an exaggeration.

TBE always looks like it's midwinter to me... but I get that feeling with most UK shows. The sky is never, ever blue.

We do get blue sky...but they must have been filming the interiors on those three days of the year... Generally speaking ::looks out of the window:: yeah, it's sorta grey. Hence why the staff photo is so hard to take in the sunshine hey, almost on topic...

Maybe Mr. Wilson's baby was aborted or miscarried. I've always assumed that Angie left just after S1 and Julie arrived ages before S2 started in the timeline. If Angie left before Christmas and Julie started before, that would give the staff plenty of time to get to know her before they had their first Christmas (the special) and before S2 started. May also explain why she held a new year party - to make up for the bad christmas they experienced while trapped in the Christmas special.
